Our approach will integrate several methods from genetics to spatial analysis. Indeed, understanding and predicting the effects of biodiversity changes on the community dynamics of rodent-pathogen interactions (final (WP4)) imply to integrate:
- the evolutionary history of interactive taxa, using phylogenetics, phylogeography and molecular epidemiology (WP1, WP2)
- the evolutionary ecology of interactions, using geometric morphometrics, immunogenetics and community phylogenetics (WP2).
- the spatial context, based on description of habitat template and/or changing environment (landscape complexity, and potential environmental filters), using spatial analysis’ methods (WP3).
Conceptual and methodological developments will be improved to predict the dynamics of interactive communities in relation to changing environment (WP4).
Management and coordination of the project will be effected by a devoted WP5.
